- Dog Training and Boarding: In home environment, with pick up and drop off service 7 days a week.
- The Board and Train: Building a relationship through motivation and teaching the ABCs for clear communication. The first step involves a 3-4 week stay for your dog in our homely environment to learn social interaction, play, and daily routines, including potty and crate training.
- Private Coaching Lessons in your Home: Private lessons are provided at your home to teach you the training mechanics, starting with reward training and progressing to the training collar for a positive learning experience.
- Social Skills and Group Class: Group adventure walks promote the development of social skills in different scenarios, emphasizing earning rewards through good behavior.
- Owner Education for Long-Term Success: The final phase focuses on instilling independence and responsibility in your dog, with continued owner education resources for ongoing coaching.
Our Training Methodology Explained
At Refined Canines, we take pride in our unique training approach that blends modern techniques with traditional methods. Our trainers are skilled in diverse methods like NePoPo Training—merging positive and negative reinforcements for clear communication—and Operant Conditioning, using consequences to shape a dog’s behavior. We also use Free Shaping to encourage independent thinking in dogs and Classical Conditioning to associate stimuli with outcomes. This varied approach ensures effective and adaptable training, recognizing each dog’s unique learning needs. Through personalized training, we aim to enhance the bond between you and your dog, making obedience a natural and enjoyable part of their daily life.
